Skills and Automations

This guide covers two powerful features of TeamDay.ai: Skills and Automations. These features allow you to enhance your AI agents' capabilities and automate routine tasks.

Skills

Skills are modular additions to an agent's capabilities, allowing for quick customization without creating entirely new agents. Skills are managed directly within the agent creation and editing interface.

Adding Skills to an Agent

  1. Navigate to the agent creation or editing page
  2. Scroll down to the Skills section
  3. Click the "Add skill" button
  4. Provide a name for the skill
  5. Write instructions for the skill (these will be appended to the agent's base instructions)
  6. Repeat steps 3-5 to add multiple skills if needed

Managing Skills

  • To remove a skill, click the "X" button next to the skill
  • Edit existing skills by modifying their name or instructions directly in the form
  • Skills are specific to each agent and are not shared across different agents

Remember, you can add multiple skills to an agent, enhancing its versatility and capabilities.

Automations (Coming Soon)

Automations will allow agents to perform tasks autonomously at specified times or under certain conditions. Like skills, automations will be configured within the agent creation and editing interface.
